Starting March 1 and running throughout the month of March, CHS Northwest will be collecting cash and non-perishable food items to help our neighbors in need. All of our stores will be accepting donations to help our local food banks.
“Even in the world’s greatest food-producing nation, children and adults face poverty and hunger in every county across America,” said Don Eucker, CHS Northwest General Manager. “By making a small cash or food donation in the month of March, you will be helping your neighbors and friends.”
“Did you know that 1 in 6 children and 1 in 7 adults face food insecurity every day?, said Rosemary Heckman, CHS Northwest Marketing Director. “The money or food that you donate in March for the Harvest for Hunger campaign will help food banks in every community we serve.”
When donations are made by our generous customers and employees, CHS will also contribute money back to each of the local food banks selected. Please think about making a small food, pet food or cash donation at any of our stores in Bellingham, Ferndale, Chimacum, Poulsbo, Black Diamond, Nooksack and Lynden. Together we can make a difference.
CHS Northwest is an agricultural co-op, with energy, agronomy and retail locations. chsnw.com
