At CHS Northwest, we work to delight our customers every day by providing only the best — the best products, the best service and the best people.
Joining Forces with CHS, Inc
In April 2015, our Producing Members voted and approved the merger with a larger cooperative, CHS, Inc. CHS Northwest is the culmination of WFC (Whatcom Farmers Co-op) joining forces with CHS Inc.
Founded in 1941 as Whatcom Grange, today WFC/CHS Northwest provides the products, services and expert advice that farmers, agricultural businesses and homeowners need through our agronomy, energy and retail store operations. We have retail locations in the communities of Lynden, Bellingham, Fairhaven, Ferndale, Blaine and Nooksack serving our customers throughout Whatcom County. Our company has a long history of serving the local communities.
In October 2015, we grew to include several new locations in Washington and Oregon. As a result of this growth we now have locations in Auburn, Black Diamond, Chehalis, Chimacum, Poulsbo, Gig Harbor, Spokane and Tillamook and Astoria.
CHS is a leading agribusiness owned by farmers, ranchers and cooperatives across the U.S. Diversified in energy, grains and foods, CHS is committed to helping its customers, farmer-owners and other stakeholders grow their businesses through its domestic and global operations. The company supplies energy, crop nutrients, grain marketing services, animal feed, food and food ingredients, along with business solutions including insurance, financial and risk management services. CHS operates petroleum refineries/pipelines and manufactures, markets and distributes Cenex® brand refined fuels, lubricants, propane and renewable energy products.
Together, we can provide our customers with a wider range of services, competitive pricing and excellent customer service. We plan to be here to serve you and generations to come. CHS Northwest – better together!
